CEM will ensure that the Decommissioning, Decontamination, Demolition (DDD) of CMC complies with the relevant statutory environmental protection requirements. All necessary measures will be implemented to reduce the project’s impact on the public and the environment.
Independent consultants have been appointed to carefully assess the possible environmental impacts arising from the DDD Project and propose mitigative measures. Typical mitigative measures will include:

Watering to suppress dust in active works areas
Cover of stockpile areas with waterproof fabric to prevent fugitive dust
Use of dump truck with cover

Use of low-noise machine
Erection of noise barriers or covers
Use of noise insulating fabric to cover machinery

Recycling of demolition waste wherever possible
Use of drip tray to prevent contamination
